Learners can build a 'sense of place' through the Cambridge IGCSE (9-1) Geography syllabus by looking at the world around them on a local , regional and global scale. A variety of natural and man-made environments will be explored by learners and some of the mechanisms that have influenced their development will be studied. They will also look at the ways people communicate with their environment and the possibilities and obstacles that an environment can bring, providing a deeper insight into the diverse societies and cultures that exist across the world.
