Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, an important topic for all learners, promotes the growth of mathematical knowledge as a main life skill and as a solid base for more advanced studies. The goal of the syllabus is to build the trust of learners by helping them develop skills and fluency with mathematical concepts , techniques and abilities, as well as a sense of numbers, patterns and relationships. The syllabus also puts a heavy focus on problem solving and presenting and explaining outcomes. Learners also gain an understanding of how they use mathematical principles to interact and reason.
