In most of the countries, the situation is rapidly changing
because of Covid-19 outbreak. Currently, most of the schools have extended
their closure up to May and June. It has made impossible for the schools to
hold the examinations.
In this uncertain situation, Cambridge International is in
touch with the school community all over the world. Cambridge International is
trying its level best to ensure fairness and support for the students that are
essential for them to continue their education with them. According to
Cambridge International, it has always been their priority to protect their
students and teachers.
It is because a difficult decision of not running our
examination in May/June 2020 has been taken by the Cambridge International. The
examinations include Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, AS and A-Level, Cambridge
international diploma, and Cambridge Pre-U.
According to Cambridge International, they consider that
students work hard for the exams, it is because they are consulting with the
schools to assess the students with the best evidence from their performance.
It will help them to award grades and certificates to the students according to
their skills and knowledge. It will also help the students to prevent
themselves by facing any difficulty in the current situation.
Cambridge International also added that they are trying to
provide guidance to the schools regarding student assessment.
